Jon Lake Photography

Photography takes an instant out of time; altering life by holding it still. Jon Lake has always been fascinated by this concept; at a young age he would capture his friends as they shot by on their Mountain Bikes, BMX’s and Skateboards -effectively freezing them in contorted poses before they hit the ground or landed a jump.

He took his passion to Victoria B.C., where he enrolled in the Western Academy of Photography. Soon after graduating he began to diversify his skills and began capturing musical events and musicians. His free-spirited and easy going nature is often mirrored in his deeply moving portraits, as his goal is to “make the viewer feel that they are sharing the moment with the subject.”

Jon currently resides in Victoria B.C., and is available for travel throughout BC and the Pacific North West.
